July 11, 2009 Exclusive: Michael Savage Banned From Great Britain: The Crime? Speaking His MindLisa Richards
Last week I wrote a column titled
“Uncompassionate Savage Treatment,” discussing talk radio host Dr. Michael Savage being denied entrance to the
UK and the fact Savage, the man who coined the phrase “Compassionate Conservatism” in 1994, is being treated like
a criminal by British Home Secretary Jacqui Smith and abandoned by Republican politicians constantly using his slogan for
their own personal achievements.
Smith, who is
embroiled in MP scandals concerning spending public money for personal use (her husband’s adult pay-per-view movies
were billed to the public), created more humiliation for British Parliament by alleging Michael Savage’s views on homosexuality, Islam and illegal
immigration are extreme: Smith claims Savage is “someone who has fallen into the category of fomenting hatred, of such extreme views and expressing them
in such a way that it is actually likely to cause inter-community tension or even violence if that person were allowed into
the country.” Savage has filed a £100,000 (about $162,000) libel lawsuit against Smith. I am one of Savage’s many listeners, and I know that although he does not support homosexual life-styles he
never calls for hate or violence toward gays. Savage staunchly disagrees with mistreatment of women, openly stating that Islamic
women forced to wear burkas is reminiscent of Nazism. His stance on immigration is that people should enter America legally. Liberals consider traditional beliefs extreme. Desecrating San
Francisco churches is exercising free speech. Smith
told the press: “It’s important that people understand the sorts of values and sorts of standards that we have
here, the fact that it’s a privilege to come, and the sort of things that mean you won’t be welcome in this country…If
you can’t live by the rules that we live by, the standards and the values that we live by, we should exclude you.” Americans once lived by British rules: we decided to dump those
rules in the harbor and exclude them. Talk Radio
Network host Rusty Humphries said: “As a host who witnessed firsthand the hate speech not only tolerated but encouraged by the UK, I am appalled and
amused at the suggestion that Michael Savage is banned from the UK for his speech.” Shadow Home Secretary Christopher Grayling had a different argument: “What we need from the Government is not the gimmick of a name-and-shame list but a consistent strategy on who can
and can’t come into the country.” The
Home Office, however, is standing its ground against criticism: “…he [Savage] was excluded for engaging in unacceptable behavior by making comments that
might provoke others to serious criminal acts and foster hatred that might lead to inter-community violence.” What would that be? Demanding Italian delis make larger meatballs
or Swedish-style will take over the bun? Earlier this year, when troops returned to the UK, Muslims demonstrated against them, calling them the “butchers of Basra.” Arrests
did not ensue until a counter-protest sprung up. Although
Great Britain does not have a written, ratified or codified constitution and no working bill of rights, the nation’s
laws of “devolution-by-way-of- evolution” give modern-day citizens and visitors freedom of speech. However, the
UK is denying those rights to Michael Savage while allowing violent criminals and terrorists entrance. Jacqui Smith seems to ignore the real culprits of antagonism. London’s
conservative mayor Boris Johnson declared shock that few in Parliament defend the “elementary principle of free speech.” Dr. Savage’s name is on a list containing white supremacists,
Hamas, and Nazis: “It’s interesting to me that here I am a talk show host, who does not advocate violence, who
advocates patriotic traditional values, borders, language, culture, who is now on a list banned in England. What does
that say about the government of England? It says more about them than it says about me.” Savage told the press: “For her [Smith] to link me up with skinheads who
are killing people in Russia, to put me in league with mass murderers who kill Jews on buses, is defamation.” Savage has not applied for a UK passport; thus the question of
barring entrance. No other American talk radio host or columnist is banned from the UK. Media Matters went so far as to splice and edited Savage radio sound bites, creating
extreme-sounding rhetoric. Americans must ask why Media Matters took Savage’s words out of context; why make him sound
radical? Why target one conservative and not all? Savage
asked of Smith: “Why me? I’m not a terrorist… maybe Jacqui Smith plucked my name out of the hat because
I’m controversial…to…counter-balance all the Arabs on her list. Is Smith using Savage as an offset to salvage her career? Smith’s attacks
on Savage and his lawsuit bring more scandal to Parliament: Speaker of the House Michael Martin resigned in May. No speaker
has stepped down in 300 years. MPs were caught spending $40,000 for personal expenses. Gordon Brown’s Labour Party is
losing ground to the opposition seeking an early election season. Mayor Johnson told London’s Guardian that Smith’s naming-and-shaming Michael Savage is “an utterly demented decision…to
cover up the hoo-ha over the home secretary’s taxpaying-funded bath plug.” UK Criminals remain protected under the civil rights law of “Right to Family
Life:” Rock star Gary Glitter: imprisoned in Vietnam for sex crimes against young girls. He was arrested in the UK for
possession of child porn and served only two months. Learco Chindano: murdered Headmaster Stephen Lawrence in 1995 but cannot be deported on grounds of “breach [ing]
his Right to a Family Life.” Ashan Sabri,
illegal Pakistani drove his car into a UK citizen, killing the person: he’s free on guarantee of “Right to family
Life.” The Home Office refuses to release
six names on the list “not considered to be in the public interest.” Michael Savage however may be ferocious and
deadly: he reads the Bible on air; he’s pro-life and supports traditional values and America. Michael Savage is being used as an example against conservatism. “Compassionate”
conservatives should be defending him. Attacking
Michael Savage is an assault against free speech and civil rights, putting him in the same league as Geert Wilders, who was
also banned from the UK for his speaking out against radical Islam. Placing Savage’s name on a list with murderers, making false
allegations against him, violates his rights. Democrats
and liberals are pushing to enact the Fairness Doctrine and ban conservative and Christian talk radio. Conservatives need
to take a stand together against those absconding with America’s First Amendment. Lisa Richards Copyright © July 8, 2009 All Rights Reserved FamilySecurityMatters.org Contributing Editor Lisa Richards blogs at Lisa-Richards.com.
Uncompassionate Savage Treatment By Lisa Richards July 2, 2009 Talk Radio host and best-selling book author
Dr. Michael Savage, the man who coined the phrase “Compassionate Conservatism” in 1994, is being treated savagely
by Great Britain and AWOL Republicans who love to use his famous phrase during campaign season. On
Tuesday May 5, 2009, Great Britain’s Home Secretary Jacqui Smith placed Dr. Michael Savage’s name on a watch list
for extremism, hate, and terror. Savage was immediately barred entrance to the UK. Savage
has never called for violence or extremism. I know this because I listen to his radio show every night.
Savage does not incite brutal behavior, his rhetoric speaks the truth, never calling for harm. Liberals
in his hometown of San Francisco constantly provoke and display aggressive assaults against conservatives and Christians.
They are welcome in the UK. Compassionate Conservatism is misused by wimpy
Republicans bestowing amnesty on illegals in order to gain votes. That was not Savage’s purpose for
his term. It was not intended to grant compassion to criminals and anti-American actions. Oddly,
the conservative talk host, standing up daily for America’s freedom, is being tossed aside by conservative and Republican
politicians not defending Savage’s free speech and civil rights. The Republican Party, which claims
they don’t want Dems to enact the Fairness Doctrine, is not being fair to Michael Savage. Yet they
consistently use his words for political gain. No
other conservative talk radio host is banned from Europe or the UK, only Michael Savage, whose words were taken completely
out of context by Media Matters and edited into sentences making Savage’s rhetoric sound extreme and violent, proving
Media Matters hates Dr. Savage and wants him off the air and will attempt perjury to do so. Youtube
sound bites of Savage are mostly edited and spliced, making Savage sound cruel and inhumane. Anyone who
takes the time to listen to the Savage Nation knows Media Matters and Youtube are out to get Michel Savage banned from talk
radio. On May 31, 2009, the British Home Office stated:
“Coming to the UK is a privilege that we refuse to extend to those who abuse our standards and values to undermine our
way of life.” How ironic: Great Britain is the country that
was bombed for decades by the Irish Republican Army (IRA) calling for violent actions against the British. The
UK is now targeted by subway and bus-bombing Muslims marching in London streets chanting death to Great Britain and the West.
Parliament does nothing to Muslims; acting
against the inciters of bloodshed would insult Islam. Parliament negotiated for years with the brutal IRA
rather than taking them out for murdering tens of thousands of human beings. Both murderous groups receive
hand slaps and open borders. Michael
Savage however is a dangerous man. Be careful if you are on the same plane as he; the PhD scientist might
talk to you about the greatness of freedom, civil rights and New York pizza while explaining the beauty of Brazilian rain
forest botany. Oh yes, Dr. Savage is precariously treacherous. There
is something called the Koran and Hadith that tells Muslims to kill all the infidels, not Michael Savage. On
June 10, 2009, in a column titled “Take me off the blacklist: Shock jock tells Brown,” the UK’s Independent
Jerome Taylor wrote: “Michael Savage refuses to drop his libel claim against Jacqui Smith, who he says defamed him when
she said he was on a list of people banned from Britain…the controversial American talk show host Michael Savage announced
he was continuing his personal £100,000 libel case against the former Home Secretary after she placed him on a list
of people banned from entering Britain and condemned him on television.” Jacqui
smith, who suddenly resigned her post when Savage filed the lawsuit against her, claimed Michael Savage is to blame for Islam’s
bloody actions. Smith lied and Prime Minister Gordon Brown has done nothing to remove Savage from the terror
watch list. Smith deserves to be sued by Savage and Brown owes him an apology. Savage
wrote Gordon Brown demanding his name be removed from the list, stating he is “likely to recover a very substantial
award in damages,” asking that Parliament “remove forthwith my name from the excluded list of individuals.”
Savage, who has not applied for a UK passport,
was “named and shamed” by the Home Office and Jacqui Smith as “someone who has fallen into the category
of fomenting hatred, of such extreme views and expressing them in such a way that it is actually likely to cause inter-community
tension or even violence if that person were allowed into the country.” Savage
refuses to back down from Smith’s “named and shamed” sham. He has hired the law firm
Olswang, going forward with his suit. Such a suit is embarrassing to the UK, not to mention Savage asked
his eight million listeners to boycott all things British. Jacqui
Smith, the pro-EU politician who pushed for the Identity Card with mythological Greek Bulls versus British symbols and Britain’s
flag on the card’s face, should be sued for the fact she was an incompetent at her job. She can ad
liar to her resume. If Michael Savage is unwelcome in the UK,
so am I. I am a listener and fan, therefore a threat because I believe in speaking the truth.
Worse: I’m a conservative writer who speaks out against Islam, liberalism, socialism, communism, fascism; I’ve
called Gordon Brown “moth-eaten” because his socialist policies are buggy. I also think Prince
Charles secretly wishes he was queen. Did
I mention I wear fur, eat meat, use electricity, love gardening (Savage is an expert botanist), own huge gas guzzling autos,
believe smoking should be legal, and keep a copy of the constitution in every room in my house as well as my handbag? That
alone puts me on Janet Napolitano’s list of far right-wing extremists who may flip out and incite riots. Michael
Savage is banned from the UK, therefore I support the boycott. I always preferred Irish Aran wool and purchase
all my heavy duty sweaters from Irish knitters who consider Ireland the fifty-first U.S. state. Again
I ask: where are all the conservatives? Why are they not standing up and defending a fellow American conservative
who loves America and defends the constitution nightly on his talk show? What
about Republican politicians misusing Savage’s famous phrase? If they intend on using the axiom,
don’t abandon the man who coined the expression. Speak out against Jacqui Smith and Gordon Brown:
tell them they violated freedom of speech and civil rights. Don’t go AWOL and pretend compassionate
actions when a fellow American is being used as a scapegoat to destroy conservative talk radio. Jacqui
Smith’s action are not about Michael Savage, he’s Smith’s example used in an attempt to silence all conservative
pundits, radio and TV hosts. If Americans don’t stand up and support
Michael Savage, demand his name be removed from the terror watch list, America will watch freedom of speech die to the Fairness
Doctrine with help from a nation Americans fought to gain independence from. Lisa

To My Father: Happy
Father’s Day By Lisa Richards June 21, 2009 I’m
blessed to have a father who truly is what a father should be: loyal husband, dedicated father, and devoted friend to all
who know him. I’m fortunate to be the daughter of a man who is not just my father, but my friend. Growing
up we never wanted or needed for anything, dad made sure we were provided for. If times were down and building
houses—dad’s business—was slow, dad did whatever it took to provide. That included opening
a health food store and photo shops, which were profitable in the 1970’s and 80’s. Family came
first above what dad loves to do: building houses and drawing cartoons. Before
I entered school, I went to work every day with my father. For the health food store we drove to Hunts
Point Market New York City to get organic fruit and veggies. Dad had a Dodge van. On
the radio was talk radio. There was no Rush or Sean then; Bob Grant was king and dad loved Bob.
By age four I was well aware of politics because of dad and Bob. Dad would laugh hysterically, slapping
his knee as he drove, when Bob would tell some 60’s liberal hippie to “put your teeth in backwards and chew,”
or “go gargle with Drano.” Of
course I repeated Bob’s rhetoric to my brothers when I got home. Mom would say: “I take it
you and daddy were listening to Bob today.” By
the time I was four I was a Goldwater girl because Dad and mom’s values were very traditional, Christian American.
The liberal hippie generation was unleashed, but never accepted in our home. Mom and dad reared
with discipline and old-fashioned values. Not to mention razors and soap, and bras for me. My
father was a church elder until ten years ago. I was raised in a Biblical-based house. Dad
never slammed the Bible over our heads or forced Bible studies on us, he taught us kids the scriptures, always making sure
we knew Jesus loves us.” And he taught us well without legalism or hell-fire. In
the 1970’s, a church sermon was given on rock n’ roll music: it was the devil’s music and kids with Rolling
Stones or Beetle’s records would suffer God’s wrath. On the way home my older brother and I
were silent and scared: we had the stones, Jefferson Airplane, the Beetles and the Kinks. Were we going
to hell? Dad interrupted the silence, telling us rock
n’ roll was not evil and God would not strike us dead for listening to Mick Jagger:
“In my day I listened to the Big Bopper and Jerry Lee Lewis.” Dad and mom still listen to Jerry
Lee. Just don’t ask dad to dance, he never
liked it. He danced at his wedding to mom, but that’s it for dancing. Dad loves
to listen and tap his feet. Dad loves rockabilly, jazz, country and Mozart.
He’s a fan of the New York Yankees, Giants, and UCONN Women’s Basketball. He grew up
in a family of golf pros but never took up the game. Dad’s an artist and writer. He
loves gardening, cartooning, and writing over playing sports. But his favorite hobby is grocery shopping.
He played with us kids: sledding, building
igloos and tree houses. We spent every summer on Block Island with dad helping us build sand castles and
playing in the surf as mom looked on from the shore yelling out: “don’t drown yourselves!” Mom
would always say she had a fourth child: her husband Dave whom she calls “Rick (short for last name).”
My brothers and I grew up on a farm as dad
did. He taught us to take care of animals and garden. I still garden with dad, who loves
designing them. Animals are still a part of family life. I’ve never seen an animal
that didn’t take to my father, including his two month-old baby Rottweiler: “daddy’s baby.” I’ve
never met a person who didn’t love dad and call him friend. Everyone loves dad. He’s
kind, calm, friendly, understanding and easy to be around, always there to help neighbors in need. He’s
not a snob, he’s real, a traditional conservative with originalist constitutional beliefs he instilled in his three
children. Dad never minces words. If
something is not right he says so. He doesn’t hold back on calling wrong, wrong. He
respects but he doesn’t tolerate or simply accept to avoid hurt feelings. He taught my brothers and
me to do the same. Dad is laid back plaid flannel shirts and
khaki pants with Topsiders or Penny Loafers. He has two beautiful pinstripes suits hanging in the back
of his closet collecting dust. Suits and ties are abhorred: “I hope I don’t have to put on
a suit for this event,” he states when some shindig comes up. Mom always replies that he looks handsome
in a suit. Dad responds: “I’m not wearing a suit. I’ll wear khakis
and a dress shirt. I’m not going to be uncomfortable.” At
my parent’s wedding dad did not wear a tux; he wore his Sunday church suit. We have one photo of
dad in a tux he was forced to wear to an event. “Dad’s wearing a tux? Wow,
get a picture!” Not only did he wear it, he had to rent “wasted money.” “You better
get your picture now,” he told mom, “this is the only time you’ll ever see me in a tux.” “What
will you wear when our daughter get’s married?” mom asked. Dad answered with a smile: “jeans,
sneakers and my red flannel shirt.” Dad
turned 76 this spring, but looks 50. Those who don’t know his age assume he’s only 50.
He still loves to work. When not working he’s reading, writing, cartooning, or, like me, glued
to Fox News and talk radio. Dad’s
office library looks like a bookstore: conservative books, history books, famous cartoonists books, art books, archeology,
etc, stacks of CD’s and more Bibles than the Vatican, dating back to the 1800’s from ancestors. We
kids are grown but still very close to dad. We still ask dad’s advice on everything despite our ages.
Dad always knows best and his advice continuously comes straight from the Bible. His prayers are
always for his family. He still puts himself last. If
not for my father I wouldn’t have a college education. I wouldn’t have anything.
My father made sure I had everything I wanted growing up, and continues championing me in all I do. I
wouldn’t be a writer if not for dad’s support that began when I was in second grade writing short stories.
He knew I was a writer and encouraged me to follow my dreams and never give up. He and mom are my
big est fans. Everyone
tells me dad brags to all about my columns. Mom always declares how proud dad is of me, that he believes
I can do anything. I
owe my father much, but he asks nothing in return from his children, just wants our love and friendship. He
has that unconditionally. He’s the best father any child could ask for. My
brothers and I are blessed, very blessed, and we know it. For us Father’s Day is every day. Lisa

LIBERALS CAN NOW RELAX: TERRORISTS ARE SAFE FROM PRESIDENT BUSH BY LISA RICHARDS JANUARY
2009 Terrorists, environmentalists, feminists,
and liberals in general, can all heave a sigh of relief: the man who unkindly called despotic dictatorships an “axis
of evil,” and told the world “you’re either with us, or you’re with the terrorists,” removed
from power the madman, who gassed thousands of human beings to death with biological weapon of mass destruction and enforced
rape and torture on demand as law, (but was no threat to America or the world), and waged a war against terror that has been
murdering Americans for decades and the world for 1,400 years, has left the building. For
eight years liberals have despised George W. Bush with an all-out passion. Bush committed the same sins
all patriotic presidents who love America do: he stood up to the enemy and kept Americans safe from another bloody attack.
For that Bush is hated by embarrassed liberals worried Europe may hate America and the French may never want to eat
with us. Like Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush hates evil and believes it must be destroyed before it
destroys any more human lives. Liberals loathed Reagan for calling their beloved Soviet Union an evil empire.
It didn’t matter that Reagan ended the Cold War and destroyed communism, which massacred an estimated 100 million,
or that the USSR had nuclear warheads aimed at the U.S., Reagan interfered with population control and the Soviets rights
to amass weapons of mass destruction against the great Satan. For that faux pas Reagan never received the
Nobel Peace Prize. Mikhail Gorbachev, who preferred socialism to capitalism and had to be forced into releasing
millions of Eastern Europeans from walled up slavery, was handed the prize and is credited with ending the Cold War. Like
Reagan, Bush had the guts to threaten enemies, fight them, call them evil, and get results that save and preserve life.
Thanks to President Bush America has been safe for from attacks on our soil eight years. Bush refused
to negotiate with enemies liberals think American presidents should sit down to tea with. Bush’s
doctrine of fighting the enemy on their soil versus ours worked. Keeping terrorists locked up in Guantanimo
Bay prevented savages from re-entering al Qaeda training camps, thus killing more American military. Despite
the successes in the War on Terror, liberals are more concerned that over-fed terrorists living on a sunny island with palm
trees might suffer sleep deprivation and pruned skin caused by water-boarding (a harmless technique Navy Seals use in their
own training and children perform on each other in swimming pools). Bush’s official “Strategy For Winning The War On Terror” has prevented another 9/11. Liberals hate the above policy. It has kept America safe and insulted France
and Germany. The left, which insists Iraq is “another Vietnam,” would rather focus on the number
of civilian casualties in Iraq, never once pointing out that Muslims with backpacks, AK-47’s, and car-bombs are killing
civilians (when they aren’t hiding behind them) every day. The left screamed and stamped their feet,
demanding Bush beef up military might. When he did, the surge worked. Liberals were
still unhappy. Bush should have focused on the nuke-acquiring Iran (but only through peaceful negotiations). Because
of George W. Bush, citizens of Afghanistan and Iraq are able to vote in free, open elections. Muslim girls
are allowed to go to school; Muslim women can go back to college, run for office, and keep their heads attached to their bodies.
George W. Bush’s Christian beliefs and realist view of evil led to Iraqi’s freedom from Saddam and their
being able to try and execute the dictator who murdered his own people for sport. Still, liberals scream
“Bush lied, people died!” The truth is: because Saddam lied (and the UN catered to him), tens
of thousands died. But liberals insist Bush is the “war criminal,” who made the world hate
us, or as MSNBC’s Keith Olberman declared on January 11, 2007: Bush’s actions might make “insurgents in Iraq” and
countries like “Iran and Syria” think the U.S. “look[s] like a country run by the equivalent of the drunken pest who gets battered
to the floor of the saloon by one punch, then staggers to his feet, and shouts at the other guy’s friends, ‘Ok,
which one of you is next?’” This is what worries liberals: Bush might make terrorists angry.
Jose Padilla was unable to set off a dirty
bomb, the Lackawanna Six were captured before blowing up Los Angeles, jihadists associated with bin Laden are at Gitmo (receiving
Habeas Corpus), Saddam’s diabolical sons were killed, Islamic terror cells have been found and captured and Momar Quadaffi relinquished his WMD’s. Bush insulted
everyone trying to annihilate mankind. Bush
admitted in his last press conference that he should have pushed harder for immigration reform. I agree,
but doing so would simply have made him more conservative. Liberal definition of the KKK. I do not believe Bush should have agreed there are no WMD’s in Iraq. For
eight years the Clinton Administration insisted there are, and Saddam Hussein proved them true by using chemical and biological
weapons to gas humans. Bush was correct, but liberals in Washington demanded apologies until Bush apologized
for putting America first and his popularity last. Bush is not perfect. Neither was Reagan when it came to amnesty and borders.
Despite that criticism I am grateful to Bush for acting like an American. He never did the popular,
he did what is right. He never wavered on his beliefs and convictions, even when trying to be friends with
American Muslims, who, in the end, hate Bush for showing compassion. Bush never let the country down.
America still stands, intact, secure, because one man refused to kowtow to a murderous religion and those who follow
it unto the death of all who refuse. I would rather have a rhetorically inept cowboy
as president than a wimped yes-man with lips attached to the backside of every catered-to American. I don’t
vote for oratorical brilliance, I vote for the safety and perseverance of this great nation. Bush governed
from that perspective: safety first, his personal standing last. He is an American at heart and proudly
let us all know. For that Bush is reviled by the left. Regardless
that George W. Bush defended and protected this nation, keeping America resilient; do not expect him to receive the Nobel
Peace Prize. That honor only goes to those who commit or support terror while raising taxes on the rich. Lisa Richards Copyright January 19, 2009 All Rights Reserved www.lisa-richards.com

| Cindy McCain: The Real Community Organizer Posted 09/09/2008 ET
Barack Obama has spent two years telling America that his wife works for the community of south-side Chicago, making
Americans think Mrs. Obama devotes her life to charity work. The opposite is true: Mrs. Obama sits on the board of University
of Chicago Medical Center and is paid her for her work. It’s been reported that a patient can only be treated
at the hospital he or she has insurance, yet Michelle Obama claims she fights for those in need. Cindy McCain saves
lives without receiving one dime; she has literally gotten down in the trenches with people less fortunate, never seeking
praise or money.
The only thing Americans hear about Cindy McCain is she is the chairperson of her father’s
Anhauser-Bush beer distributorship, Hensley & Company, and her personal net worth is $100 million dollars. Many
do not realize Mrs. McCain’s father borrowed the money to start his business in 1955; one year after his daughter was
born. Cindy McCain was not born to wealth. The media and press never tell her real accomplishments of service
to those in need around the world.
The media has devoted two years to praising Mrs. Obama because she’s married
to Barry Obama, but what has she essentially done that makes her First Lady material? Michelle Obama has no track record
as a lawyer fighting for the community; her reputation of service is based on what she and her husband have invented for the
media.
The wife of John McCain is a heroine, a fearless woman willing to lay her own life on the line to rescue
others. The woman who introduced her husband on September 4, 2008 at the Republican National Convention was presented
to the audience in a video narrated by Senator McCain. The beer heiress is the very definition of beauty, brains, and
guts.
Cindy McCain is the first in her family to graduate from college? Cindy McCain graduated from the
University of Southern California, not an Ivy League college, and went on to teach special needs children in the state of
Arizona. Her life story is outstanding and that of a role model: the mother of four selflessly aids victims of land
mines, birth defects, genocide, starvation, deprivation, and disease.
• 1988: Mrs. McCain
founded the American Voluntary Medical Team (AVNT) and led 55 medical aid missions into war-zones over a seven year period.
• 1994: Mrs. McCain witnessed the Rwanda genocide first hand when her team risked their
lives to help victims of gang rape, murder, hunger and disease. Mrs. McCain says she had to step over dead bodies to
find those still alive.
• Mrs. McCain serves on the board of Operation Smile, a non-profit
organization providing surgery to children born with cleft lips. 100,000 around the world children can smile because
of Operation Smile.
• Mrs. McCain is a member of the Halo Trust, a nonprofit organization
dedicated to removing land-mines. Halo has removed 7,000 land mines in 10 countries around the world.
•
Mrs. McCain volunteered for missions to Morocco, Vietnam, and India. On one trip to India 17 years ago, Mother
Teresa handed Mrs. McCain a newborn child born with a cleft lip -- surgery was the only thing that could save the baby’s
life -- asking her to take the child to a hospital in the U.S. Mrs. McCain, who says she could not part with the baby
when she reached the U.S., told Senator McCain: “meet your new daughter.” The beautiful young woman named
Bridgette McCain stood beside her mother and siblings to introduce her father at the Republican National Convention.
In 2004, Mrs. McCain suffered a stroke from high blood pressure. Once fully recovered, she not only joined her husband’s
campaign, Mrs. McCain went back to being an aid worker, joining mission’s teams around the world.
•
She travels with the World Food Program: in 2008, Mrs. McCain joined WFP on a trip to Rwanda to deliver food and medicine
to famine victims.
• 2008: On the trip to Rwanda Mrs. McCain met a group called Women
For Women International, an organization helping female survivors of war get educations, jobs, start businesses, receive counseling,
rights, food, water, shelter, and medicine.
Mrs. Obama is accused of helping to shut down a Colorado pickle factory
in 2005, causing 150 Hispanic workers to lose their jobs.
• Mrs. McCain also works with
Pour Un Sourire d’ Enfant (For a Smile of a Child) providing support and education to abused children in third world
counties where the basics are not available without the help of volunteers like Cindy McCain who are willing to hike through
the most unpleasant situations to help others.
Mrs. McCain is not just another pretty wife of a politician
in designer clothes: Cindy McCain doesn’t just talk about lending a hand, she acts. Michelle Obama talks about
bringing “change,” Cindy McCain has, in reality, gone out into the world and made a profound change in thousands
of lives for the greater good of mankind.
The Republican Convention gave the world a look into the real
life of the real Cindy McCain: she is the true definition of feminism. Between Cindy McCain and Sarah Palin women of
America truly have two role models to look up to, admire, and aspire to be like.

THE PRICE FOR FREEDOM BY
LISA RICHARDS July 4, 2008 Too Many American’s today don’t realize what signing the Declaration of Independence
entailed. The greatest essay in American history fueled intense anger in King George and the British on
U.S. shores. Those men who signed the document were considered criminals. The act itself
was treason against the crown. By
1775 Massachusetts was already embroiled in war. Our forefathers wanted freedom from England; they wanted
to be a separate nation and fighting for freedom was worth everything to a land of colonists held under tyranny. On June 7, 1776, Richard Henry Lee made a
formal decree of independence. James Madison, the author of the Constitution, asked Thomas Jefferson, a
talented writer, to draw up a draft of a declaration of freedom from England. On June 28, 1776, Thomas Jefferson submitted to the delegates the draft that would forever
change the face of this nation. The delegates reviewed Thomas Jefferson’s draft of the Declaration
of Independence, it was modified, and on July 2, 1776, Congress passed Lee’s motion for the document. Two
days later on July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was adopted. The American people heard the document’s contents for the first time on July 8, 1776
in Independence Square, Philadelphia. On August 2, 1776, the document was signed by 50 Americans who were
taking a great risk against the King of England by putting their pens to a document considered treason. Despite
the act of treason against the crown, the men signed the Declaration and six more men would sign later on. Next, the document would have to be read by
all colonists throughout the land. In order to accomplish this goal, riders hid the papers on their persons
and rode through the colonies to deliver the document to towns where people heard their God given rights. By providence, those riders were not caught
and the document was spread through the colonies. On
December 12, 1776, the British threatened the Congress. Congress quickly adjourned, packed the important
document up and sent it off to Maryland eight days later hidden in a wagon to stay there until March of 1777 when it was safe
to return the Declaration to Philadelphia. Again the document made it past enemy lines to safety. In April of 1812, during the war, the document
was moved from Washington to Virginia to protect it once again from the British who might get their hands on it and destroy
our Declaration. What
many do not know is the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence knew with great despair what they had done: they
committed treason and if any were caught by the British they would be hanged. Still, this did not stop one, single signer from fighting for this nation. Many
donned the uniform of rebellion and fought the British and died in battle. Others like William Pacca, a
wealthy southerner, gave his money and sold whatever was necessary to the cause of the revolution he firmly believed in.
Other men did the same. Those men became broke and destitute as a result. They gave their lives, their money, sold their
land, their homes, property, and whatever they could to raise money to fight for freedom and create a country. They did not do this for themselves; they
did this for the future of the America they were fighting to create. Those men who signed the Declaration and then the Constitution were willing to become criminals
of the crown, poor, and even die so we might live free. How many Americans today would do what the father’s of our country did?
How any would say: fighting for this nation in any way is worth it, even if it is writing something that wakes people
up and makes them realize we do in fact have God given rights by birth that say all men are free, equal, and have rights to
live so. God
Bless our great founders and all who fought and died for this country. God Bless America; Have a blessed Fourth, Lisa Richards copyright July 4, 2008 all rights reserved www.lisa-richards.com
ONCE AGAIN, TRAGEDY PROVES AMERICANS ARE NOT AS EVIL AS THE WORLD ACCUSES: UNTIL GEORGE BUSH BECAME JESUS CHRIST BY LISA RICHARDS August 6, 2007 On August 1, 2007 an entire lane of the Minneapolis Bridge spanning the Mississippi river
in Minnesota collapsed at 6:15 p.m. during grid-lock rush hour taking many citizens down with it to injury and death.
Survivors say the bridge began to rumble as if the was earth quaking. Within four seconds drivers went down with the
bridge. An on the scene Fox News reporter described the site of the collapse as “simply too much to bear to look
upon.
The image of the giant span was surreal: the long span connecting two ends of the city
was nothing but debris and piles of cars lying in the river and ground below.
Live footage
showed citizens rushing the river’s edge, risking their own lives to rescue people from their mangled cars. As
cameras panned away the Fox News reporter shakily described was visible to viewers and it was catastrophic.
Across America
and Minnesota viewers wondered if their friends and family living in the city of Minneapolis were among the victims in the
many cars under the river’s water. Sadly, for some, that wonder became reality. Thankfully the death
toll is not as high as high as expected.
Despite political divisions and heated arguments over ideals Americans
have enormous hearts and unselfish ideals when it comes to acting humane. The proof is evidenced in the wake of crisis.
When tragedy strikes Americans put everything except love aside, rush to aid one another, even if it means becoming
victims while trying to save other.
The world consistently denounces Americans as greedy colonial exploiters of the world’s poor:
too rich, too comfortable, selfish, un-giving despite billions in aid given, and loathsome and deserving to be abhorred as
evil. The opposite is true; Americans are not selfish; every tragedy has proven Americans have a natural born spirit
of heroism. That’s not to say Americans never act selfish or point blame at each other, but the rush
to respond to catastrophic events, whether they be ours or the world’s, is done with amazing altruistic response.
In Minneapolis citizens rushing the river’s edge, jumping in the water to pull people
from their cars. One self-less man risked his life to rescue an entire bus full of terrified children he was chaperoning.
In those heroic moments that man put his safety aside to be parent and protector to children he promised their parents he
would take care of. Victims crawled from their cars, stopped at the edge of the remains of the bridge to crawl
up the giant slabs disconnected from the intact section of bridge to help others trapped escape before more of the bridge
collapsed. Teenagers, whom we normally think of as lazy, became heroes as they jumped into the water or climbed broken bridge
girders to pull people out of cars and off sections of hanging bridge. That’s the American personality,
that’s the American way, that’s our code of honor. We don’t leave others behind, we make sure they go with
us to safety even it means we must risk our lives to accomplish the right thing.
But out of the
great love toward fellow man the citizens of Minneapolis displayed came liberalism and the desire to inflict hate and politics
into disaster and bravery.
Within 24 hours liberal House and Senate Democrats blamed
President Bush as the reason the Minneapolis Bridge collapsed. Apparently George Bush climbed the bridge girders with
his trusty Monkey Wrench and disconnected nuts and bolts holding the bridge together and then sawed through the girders
in order to destroy the bridge and kill the citizens of Minnesota.
Bush is mad
at Minnesota for his loosing the House and Senate. Minnesotans did not vote in enough Republicans to help Bush keep the power.
In fact I have it on good authority that Rudy Giuliani helped Bush sever the bridge since the two are responsible
for setting dynamite under the World Trade center, detonating the towers to demolish them for political gain. It is
said Rudy strategically place a few select pieces of dynamite in just the right places to down the Minneapolis Bridge.
This is
Rudy’s effort to scare Minnesota into electing him president. If Minnesotans don’t elect the Italian the
Italian will give Minnesota the Italian job.
Accusing Bush of the Minneapolis Bridge collapse is not only insane
it’s a political grasp at straws by House and Senate Democrats loosing respect for not doing their jobs.
Rather than commend the heroic city for saving their fellow man Democrats have to turn a horrible accident into a Bush
conspiracy theory.
Not one liberal finger pointer bothered to place the blame on state
officials who took the bridge repair funds for their own personal use. Dems must blame George W. Bush because Nancy
Pelosi has done a terrible job of doing nothing with her crown since taking the House in January.
These blame-game
Dems are the same losers who blamed Bush for 9/11 despite the fact Clinton refused bin Laden and ignored years of terror threats.
September 11, 2001 was the perfect example of our nation coming together to take care of one another,
to save, to search, to help recover. Amidst shock and dismay Americans responded with selfless love.
Many rescue workers have since died from lung ailments because they were willing to stay at Ground Zero months on end recovering
the lost so families could have closure. Rescue workers put other’s first risking their lives for victim’s
families and America.
Whenever women and children go missing Americans show up at search
and rescue ground zero in droves to search for a person they’ve never met but want to find and return to their loved
ones. When victims are sadly found dead, strangers, who came out to search, attend victim’s funerals mourning
the loss of someone they never knew, giving support to a family they have no connection to. When mines collapse Americans
come together joining the miner’s community in prayer and celebration when the miner is rescued and tears and prayers
when hope is lost. When planes crash Americans go to the site to lay flowers and pray for the families left behind; when students
are murdered by fellow students Americans come together to pray and mourn the loss of people they never met and support the
survivors. Americans give funds in honor of the lost to aid victim’s families. That is not greed,
that is not selfish, that is Americaness, our code of honor, our goodness, our innate desire to help one another.
Time Magazine’s
latest issue is a complete denunciation of America claiming the Gulf Coast has been left behind waiting to be hit by another
storm. Americans donated billions in cash and volunteers around the country have been helping the City of New
Orleans for two years to regain it’s self. The help will continue because Americans want to help their fellow
citizens.
It’s not America’s fault thousands of New Orleans citizens refuse
to return to rebuild. George Bush is expected to rebuild their city and give them free new homes.
Katrina was
another George Bush supernatural act. Bush wanted to rid the entire south of black people. He waved his magic
Remington double barrel and brought down a mighty white-supremacist anti-black wrath upon the Gulf Coast and wiped the snot
out of Jambalaya junk.
That’s the inner workings of the liberal mind: Bush is evil, he causes violent
hurricanes, bridge collapses, he creates the illusion of enemy attacks on America to seal his reelection and gain ground to
go to war for the fun of it.
George Bush has the power of Jesus Christ, he just refuses to raise
the dead he killed.
Americans prove that out of tragedy comes good, a silver lining exists, God is with us
and gives us the strength to endure and get through by helping one another in any way each person can contribute.
Many of the contributions, as always in disaster, are Bush pledges.
The rest of the
world which loves to look at America as greedy, self-centered stingy losers should look at the faces of the citizens
of Minneapolis and see the true American spirit—loving one’s fellow man at the risk of one’s
own life.

HOW JERRY FALWELL SAVED AMERICAN VALUES BY LISA RICHARDS May 19, 2007
Jerry Falwell was one of America’s heroes. He was loved by many and hated by those who
despised accountability for immorality and corruption. Whether one loved or hated Jerry Falwell he helped put the
breaks on the free-loving course of the degenerated 1960’s American culture by standing up with the Holy Bible in one
hand and the U.S. Constitution in the other proclaiming the truth: our Founding Fathers did not separate religion from politics
and Washington; our founders did in fact turn to Christ to found this nation and create the U.S. government.
Jerry Falwell
was a patriot who wanted America to continue strong and not be taken over by anti-American foreign cultures and Hollywood
culture. He knew if America was to continue and get back on track we better put God back into schools and not let the
ACLU evict him from Washington.
Jerry Falwell proved to the anger of the liberal left that
“Separation of Church and State,” the letter from Thomas Jefferson to Connecticut Baptist Christians who wanted
Jefferson to tell the Congregational Church—the official religion—to stop trying to ban Baptists was freedom of
religion not from religion.
And Jerry was the preacher who started the Christian right whose
goal was to take America’s founding back from those trying to burry it under white-washed lies which have replaced out
school’s history books, public buildings, and brainwashed minds.
Jerry Falwell stood up to the
ACLU, Atheists, Humanists, and anti-Christian groups after the 1973 Roe V. Wade by founding the Moral Majority in 1979.
He consistently debated secular groups on “Separation of Church and State,” giving patriotic Christians a strong
voice once smashed by the I-hate-America liberal left.
On Tuesday afternoon of May 15, 2007 America lost its first outspoken and uproariously
boisterous patriot preacher since early American evangelists Roger Sherman and Anne Hutchison: Reverend Jerry Falwell.
Jerry was found dead in his Liberty University office from a heart arrhythmia at the age of 73. Falwell’s
death was a shock to those who loved and admired the American patriot who took America by the dirty collar, ripped open
the torn seems, and with the harsh and much hated truth, began repairing the damage done to the fabric of American values.
Jerry Falwell whose “Old Tim Gospel Hour” program drew
attention almost thirty years ago, helping grow a majority voice that stood up screaming enough is enough. We’re sick
and tired of sixties free-love, do what makes you feel good, liberalism’s Socialism/Communism, the ACLU demanding Christians
have no rights and Atheists have every right, marriage should be allowed for everyone and anyone no matter the union of the
sex or the age of the women the man is raping for religion. Jerry Falwell stood up to every so-called modern-minded America
and said no you can’t do anything you want because it makes you feel good. You have to do what’s right.
Jerry Falwell’s morality stance was the real leverage that helped push Ronald Reagan
to the forefront and conservatives to the poles to elect the first born again Christian president since Abraham Lincoln.
Falwell never
made excuses for anyone’s life-style, Christian or non-Christian. The infamous “God created Adam and
Eve not Adam and Steve” comment made almost thirty years ago woke America up to realize Gay Marriage was not just
scripturally unacceptable, it was unconstitutional and had to remain so if polygamy is to remain illegal.
Jerry
Falwell was castigated throughout his 34 year public career as being hateful toward gays. The opposite was true.
Falwell stated a few years ago on Fox News that if one of his children or grandchildren came to him and confided he or she
was gay he would still love his child as always. He said he would pray for his son or daughter to know Christ, but he
would never stop loving a gay child because that would be unChristian.
The anti-Falwell Gays
disowned are always disowned by parents who are not followers of Jesus, rather followers of a religion based on a dogma of
legalism.
Falwell further infuriated many Americans on September 18, 2001 when he made the following
statement to Pat Robertson: “The Lord has protected us so wonderfully for these past 225 years. And since 1812,
this is the first time we’ve been attacked on our soil and by far the worst results. I blame the ACLU. And,
I know that I’ll hear from them for this. But, throwing God out successfully with the help of the federal court
system, throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools. The abortionists have got to bear some burden for
this because God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I
really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying
to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way—all of them who have tried to secularize
America—I point the finger in their face and say “you helped this happen.”
Falwell who
was not saying gays and women who had abortions caused the attack on America. Falwell was saying America was forced
to sit idly by during the 1970’s Carter years that destroyed the CIA, the FBI, and the U.S. military while allowing
Iran’s Shah to be overthrown by terrorists because Carter hates America.
Jerry was pointing
out how liberals like Clinton never bothered to go to war against an enemy quietly invading America with terror cells hiding
in New York and blowing up the World Trade Center in 1993, The Khobar Towers, the Kenyan Embassy, and the U.S.S. Cole prior
to 9/11. Jerry was actually stating a fact: Clinton could have stopped the terror, but was more concerned about sex
with Monica Lewinsky and the liberal media was more concerned with protecting Bill Clinton’s sexual freedom and that
of everyone who feels they should be able to do whatever makes them feel good and to hell with society than making we
Americans aware that Islam has been slowing taking over.
American liberals allowed terrorists
to be protected by the ACLU who says Islam has religious freedom, but Christians don’t, and all for the sake of
granting every one and anyone else whatever they want it got us attacked because we were too busy paying attention to what
we want for ourselves, not what America needs. That was what Jerry voiced.
Gays took the
comment as a personal attack upon each gay person in America when Falwell was saying America was more worried about promoting
every form of life-style for whoever it makes feel good. Rather than putting our focus on Muslims sneaking around
are cities and towns with bombs to kill us we Americans were told to be tolerant toward all life-styles and let people
experiment with sex.
America was supplementarily concerned with coddling the so-called Civil Rights of spoiled
brats trying to reverse American values while worrying about never hurting anyone’s feelings.
The result of the ACLU and elite media not allowing America to discriminate
against Muslims, who should be discriminated against, got 3,000 people killed. Liberals said America couldn’t offend
Muslims feelings. It’s ok to offend Christians, just not those who bombed New York in 1993 and got away with it
thanks to Bill Clinton.
Falwell happened to be a tough-talker in an America whimped down. We must all hug one another and plant daisies with Dr. Phil.
Sorry. I like Dr. Laura.
That infamous 2001 interview did not destroy Falwell’s
career. Falwell’s comments made more Americans realize the need to fight against secularism in order to protect
America—gay and straight—from sneak attacks.
Jerry was maintaining:
stop trying to make your life the rest of our business when we have enemies out there we need to watch.
Those who speak
out against wrongs the way the founders did in the Federalists Papers and the Declaration of Independence become tagged
as extremists. Thomas Jefferson was called a seditionist by the crown for declaring we have unalienable rights given
by God. Jerry Falwell was hated by the left for loving Jesus and America.
Jerry Falwell
was a decent human being. He built a home for unwed mothers so frightened young women abandoned by parents would not
have to have abortions. Jerry spent millions of his own money paying for the medical bills. Those who could not keep
their children were helped by Jerry with adoption. Those who wanted to keep the babies were helped by Jerry who
set up funds for the mothers to raise their children.
Either way all the women were given a home to live during the nine
months. Jerry put those girls through college at Liberty University. He believed the girls could go farther
in life and better themselves and their children if they had educations.
Jerry founded
a home for alcoholics because he believed people needed counseling and God’s love to get sober. Those people too
were offered educations to realize anyone can do great things with their life without alcohol and drugs.
Those helped
in Jerry’s homes for alcoholics and unwed mothers have spoken out publicly over the years to thank Jerry for giving
them a chance to live by letting them know God loves them no matter their life’s circumstances or life-style.
The ACLU never did that.
Hollywood certainly not does that. The People for the American Way on no occasion lift a finger to accomplish any of
that. The ACLU and
People for the American Way would rather have Americans dead by way of Islam than allow freedom of religion to Christians.
God bless you
Jerry. Thank you for never being afraid to tell the truth even when it got you bashed by the left. You gave
many a voice to speak out by your speaking out for us. Lisa Richards copyrite May 19, 2007 www.lisa-richards.com
WHICH PRESIDENT’S DAY? THERE
ARE 43 YOU KNOW BY LISA RICHARDS February 19, 2007
Remember the good old days
when the United States actually showed respect for Presidents Washington and Lincoln by setting aside two special days of
celebration for each great man? We called the days Lincoln’s Birthday and Washington’s Birthday.
Liberals do
not care about two men who saved the Union in two separate wars so Americans can worry over who the father of Anna Nicole’s
baby is and what kind of wig Brittney Spears will wear on her bald head.
No longer do we celebrate the
birthdays of Washington and Lincoln on separate days. Congressional jerks decided the two men can have one day called
“President’s Day” in order for Americans to blindly celebrate by beating the tar out of each other in the
race to purchase discount towels and bed sheets.
If the president in question were Bill Clinton there would be so
many holidays in his honor we’d have to forgo the Gregorian in lieu of a new set of months and added days.
I guarantee, 100 years from now there will be: 1. “Bill Clinton’s
Birthday,” 2. “Bill Clinton Inauguration Day,” 3. “Bill Clinton Impeachment
Day,” 4. “Bill Clinton Day,” 5. “Bill Clinton Lamp Day Sale ,” 5. “Bill
and Hill’s Wedding Anniversary Day,” 5. “The Bill Clinton Harlem Day Parade,” 6. “Blue-Dress
Friday,” 7. “Bill Clinton History Month,” 8. “Bill Clinton Black History Month,”
9.
“Bill Clinton Black President’s Day,” 10. “Pardon A Criminal Day,” 11. “The
Bill Clinton National Intern Day,” 12. “Pink-Blouse Monday,” 13. “The
Bill Clinton Memorial Wall,” 14. “The Bill Clinton Feminist Day Parade,” 15. “”White Water
Day,” 16. “Bill Clinton AWOL Day,” 17. “Bill Clinton Family Council Centers Of America,” 18. “The
Bill Clinton Aspirin Therapy,” 19. “Bill Clinton Colleges,” 20. “Bill Clinton Universities,” 21. “Bill
Clinton High Schools,” 22. “Bill Clinton Trucker Colleges For Hill Billie’s,” 23. “Bill
Clinton Law Schools,” 24. “Bill Clinton Bible College,” 25. “Bill Clinton Rape
Clinics,” 26. “Bill Clinton Free-Clinics Of America,” 27. “The Bill Clinton
Guide To Better Sex Without Your Wife,” 28. “The Bill Clinton English Rhetoric Book,” 29. “Bill
Clinton Mountain,” 30. “Bill Clinton Highway,” 31. “Bill Clinton State Parks,” 32. “State
Bill Clinton” replaces Arkansas, 33. “Bill Clinton Trailer Parks.” 34. Hill and Bill’s faces
on Mount Rushmore, 35. "Bill Clinton Moment of Silence."
America used to respect its Founding Fathers.
American schools used to teach children about Washington and the American Revolution and how the General fought Cornwallis
to a surrender and defeat that gave us our freedom.
American schools used to teach children about the man named Abe
who fought a war between the states to save the United States and freed blacks from slavery. America used to celebrate
that man’s life and the fact he was murdered because he chose to preserve America rather than let it crumble.
Now those two
men are known for Laura Ashley Chintz and Egyptian cotton.
Since the 1960’s Abe
Lincoln has been turned into an adulterous dim-wit and George Washington has been called a failure because he only won three
very successful and decisive battles, three battles that were the pivotal outcome of America’s future.
Washington
has been rewritten as a womanizing Bill Clinton.
Barack Obama, who only has 18 months experience in politics, and hasn’t done one,
single thing for the Illinois Senate except smile while imitating Pentecostal Preacher T.D. Jakes. That
is considered the greatest thing since Novocain and the best choice for president next to Hillary Clinton.
The entire news
day has been devoted to why a drug addicted stripper died and an untalented bald drunk.
America
should be learning more about two men who changed the course of world history for the better. America should have parades
in honor of two men who put God and country above their own wants so Americans can spend their lives worrying about Africa
and what kind of baby Madonna will purchase next.
For the past 40 years liberals have been on a quest to destroy the
legacy of Lincoln and Washington. Liberals have convinced Americans the two presidents don’t deserve separate
holidays because they were white. Blacks get Black History Month, but there is no American History Month because it
would include whites liberals have been trying to extinguish from the memory of older generations by white-guilting them.
liberals
have succeeded in wiping Washington and Lincoln from history classes. Al Gore actually freed the slaves. Timothy Leary
on the other hand is well known by every college kid today.
If February 19th is President’s Day which
president are we celebrating? There are 43 to choose from and the day’s name is vague about the identity of which
presidents we are supposed to honor. For all we know we’re celebrating the life of an English woman who designed wallpaper
and fabric.
Today’s generation thinks Lincoln is what chauffeurs drive and Washington is where the president
lives. Today’s kids think the Civil War was a war fought with nice words. This generation assumes the Revolutionary
War was fought during the 60’s for equality of the sexes.
Many think
President Taft was the CEO of a candy factory? Many kids believe Andrew Jackson is Michael’s brother, Eisenhower
is one of the kingdoms in Lord of The Rings, and FDR and JFK have something to do with car speed.
Today’s
kids think Bill Clinton is the father of our country, Al Gore discovered America, and John Kerry’s yacht carried the
pilgrims to a rock concert called Plymouth.
Liberalism has broken American society down by dismantling
American History and replacing it with pop culture.

WHY KING AND NOT TUBMAN, TRUTH, DOUGLASS AND CRANDALL? BECAUSE THE MEDIA DECIDES WHO WE WORSHIP
BY LISA RICHARDS JANUARY 15, 2007
I’ve
never considered Martin Luther King Jr. to be prodigious absoluteness. I don’t feel he did anything remarkable. Many
will argue in his defense, insisting his “I Have A Dream” speech was the greatest speech given since Jesus preached
atop a mountain. Countless will insist King changed America for the better—not the Founding Father’s
who risked life, reputation, and all they owned to make it possible for King to give that Mall speech.
The founders
were slave holders—very reluctant slave holders with no choice but to allow slavery to remain for a future generation
to slaughter each other in order to rectify its wrongs--so that makes them unworthy.
King is
God to Americans who have been instructed whites are evil. Liberals convince Americans that King freed the black man,
most of whom have been living on generational welfare since the 60's. King did it all by telling America he
had a dream for us all to live as one.
King’s speech on the Washington Mall was in no way comparable
to those of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address or the great Sojourner Truth who rendered Civil War era men speechless and
truly did change the course of history and women’s rights with words 1800’s women and blacks were forbidden to
publicly declare. Sojourner
Truth not only declared how women and slaves felt, she toured the country as a prominent speaker of Women’s Rights packing
halls and shocking men who dared not challenge Miss Truth who avowed once even Jesus listened to a woman—his mother. But Sojourner Truth was a woman—a
black runaway female slave—therefore a second class citizen of the lowest form and completely pushed aside with other
pioneers of abolition and women’s rights for Martin Luther King Jr.
Harriet Tubman was the woman called “Moses” because she led people from bondage
to the promised land of freedom. She is the most famous abolitionist and leader in the Underground Railroad in American
history. Harriet
Tubman drove Southern lawmen crazy with anger because she was able to sneak over the Mason-Dixon Line North to South and North
again without ever getting caught. She did so 18 times prior to 1857 with 300 enslaved Americans she was determined
to set free. Harriet
Tubman truly was the Moses of her time. More so than King ever was.
The
same can be said of Connecticut’s own heroine Prudence Crandall of Connecticut’s Quiet Corner. The 1800’s white women
wanted all women—black and white—to receive educations in reading, writing and arithmetic. Abolitionist
Prudence Crandall opened the first integrated school in America in her Canterbury, Connecticut home successfully teaching
young women the three “R’s.” In 1832, Prudence’s neighbors so angered by her admitting a young black woman named
Sarah Harris to her school, rioted in the streets attacking Prudence and her students in Prudence’s home. The
school was forced to shut down and Connecticut passed “The Black Law” prohibiting the education of blacks in the
state. Why
Martin Luther King Jr. and not three women who did more in their lifetimes than King ever could have done? Because Tubman,
Truth and Crandall were women and even if there had been a media in their time to record the events on TV the women would
not have received King’s glory, because liberals would have suppressed the women in the fashion of slave owners.
King
was assassinated. Through media movements his legacy was created. Without the media to exalt King to lofty levels
of sainthood he never would have become the martyr he is today. King endures so famously due to created cultism.
The
radical 60’s left invented King’s legacy which is not as great as people assume.
Frederick Douglass, the most
esteemed black man in 1800’s America, and one of America’s greatest politicians and businessmen is not given the credit King receives. Frederick Douglass
was a Washington Statesman, a book author, a newspaper columnist, an editor, orator, and the man known as “The Sage
and Lion of Anacostia.” He was the leader of the abolitionist movement and he did all the above listed during
the days of slavery. Douglass
was in politics over 100 years before Barrack Obama, but if Douglass were alive today he would never be the first black president.
Douglass stated something liberals hate: “I am a Republican, a dyed in the wool Republican,
and I never intend to belong to any other party than the party of freedom and progress.” That’s because Democrats
were the party of slavery and fought Republicans to keep slavery legal. (JSTOR.org, history.rochester.edu, pbs.org, frederickdouglas.org,
ggw.org, fordham.edu)
King never attained what Abe Lincoln did. Lincoln was also assassinated young; but Lincoln’s
legacy was not created by the press and liberals who need a martyr for the anti-white movement. Lincoln’s legacy
was already intact and well known before his death. Lincoln was one of the most hated men of his time by North and South
whites because of his biggest political accomplishment—the War Between the States.
Lincoln had
to ignore the 49-er massacres in California and slavery’s brutalities in the South for the preservation of America.
Without this harsh decision there would be no America today and no Civil Rights for anyone.
Lincoln was not a martyr after
his death. Lincoln was disliked more than conservatives dislike for Michael Moore. Both sides blamed Lincoln for
the loss of their loved ones and the South blamed him for crippling them for many decades to come.
Abraham Lincoln used to have
his own celebratory day honoring him, now he shares that day on “President’s Day” with Washington who once
had a special birthday.
King on the other hand receives an entire day with closings of government buildings and
schools remembering a man who plagiarized one third of his college papers (Boston University), was friends with and supported
Fidel Castro and cheated on his wife.
Martin
Luther King was against capitalism and America investing in other nations. (Garrows, p. 214, Corretta Scott King, “Martin
Luther King Jr. Companion,” p. 39, Fogmore, S.C. speech. Nov. 14, 1966, Martin Luther King, “Beyond Viet Nam:
A Time To Break Silence,” April 4, 1967.) He openly supported Socialism, wanting wealth equally distributed
amongst Americans.
If that sounds like communism that’s because it is.
King was against
funding the U.S. military and disagreed with U.S. involvement in Viet Nam so much he declared “America is the greatest
purveyor of violence in the world today.” King openly praised the North Vietnamese government’s plan for its people
and declared U.S. troops massacred millions of innocent children. (Guenter Lewey, “America In Viet Nam,” 1978.
pp. 444-445.) Those
words show an inherently anti-American King, and despite what his widow claimed in her biography; King’s rhetoric was
pro-communist. (Lewey, King, “Beyond Viet Nam).
Here is one King radio addresses Time Magazine called a “script for Radio Hanoi.”
“A true
revolution of values will soon look uneasily on the glaring contrast of poverty and wealth with righteousness indignation.
It will look across the seas and see individual capitalists of the West investing huge sums of money in Asia, Africa, and
South America, only to take the profits out with no concern for the social betterment of the countries, and say: “this
is not just.” (King, “Beyond Viet Nam”).
Note to King lovers: if it weren’t for capitalists investing in the nations
listed above those people would never receive funds for AID’s, Tsunami relief, earthquake relief, building Wal-Mart’s
in China that took people out of fields and into weekly paid jobs, and billions in imports from South America.
America’s capitalism is giving but King refused to believe that. King also stated blacks should
be compensated for slavery through billions in funds (Alex Haley, “Martin Luther King,” Playboy. Jan. 1965., Frogmore
S.C., Nov. 14, 1966 speech to King’s staff)—what about the 10 million Jews Hitler exterminated, or the millions
the Communist Stalin massacred?
This is the same man who wanted U.S. to stop suppressing Latin American
revolutions. He agreed with that violence, including Castro’s take-over of Cuba—but disagreed with U.S. Nam involvement
to stop Communism. (Lewey).
King’s advisor was Stanley Levinson, a member of the Communist
Party U.S.A. and King refused to disassociate himself with Levinson by firing the man when Attorney General Bobby Kennedy
asked King to disentangle himself from a Communist. (Haley) America does not know about that information unless it’s researched because
King has been iconoclastically immortalized to saint hood by the white-hating media.
Barack Obama is
already a cult hero for doing nothing other than knowing how to con America with his phony liberal use of Southern Baptist
and Pentecostal rhetoric in his speeches—“not a black America, White America, or Latino America?” Bill Clinton
did the same and became the first black president and the white Dr. King.
Condoleeza Rice has more accomplishments
than a phone book could ever contain and she’s disliked by blacks.
Colin Powell was born a poor Bronx boy who worked his way through college in a shoe store,
joined the military where he was segregated in separate quarters—but didn’t mind—became General Colin Powell,
the Joint Chief of Staff to President Bush 41, and the first black Secretary of the State to President Bush 43. Liberals,
Democrats and King Lover’s hate Powell because he’s a conservative Republican. Yet those people who hate Powell love Kofi
Annan the thug extortionist who starved Africans, extorted 22 billion for Saddam Hussein to refurbish his palaces, and allowed
the raping of little African Congo girls.
In America, icons are created not for achievement but mystique.
If King had not been gunned down at a young age he never would be the man he is in the minds of today’s
Americans. Lisa

THE UNLIKELY PRESIDENT, THE TRUE AMERICAN HERO:
GERALD R. FORD
1913-2006
BY LISA RICHARDS
January 2, 2007
He was a Mid-Western
boy from Michigan; an adopted child who became a football star, World War II Navy veteran, U.S. Congressman and House Minority
and Majority Leader whose life-long dream was to be Speaker of the House.
He became the
President of the United States instead.
Gerald R. Ford
never wanted to be president but he had no choice. When Vice President Spiro Agnew under President Nixon stepped down, Nixon
asked Majority Leader Congressman Gerry Ford to become Vice President. Still, the presidency was not Ford’s aspiration,
nor did he have intentions of running for president when Nixon retired in 1976. Gerald Ford wanted to be Speaker.
Nixon never retired;
he was forced to resign due to the Watergate scandal—(a scandal whose lies would be uncovered 30 years later when Mark
Felt, a.k.a. Deep Throat was exposed as the man who conspired against the President of the United States to destroy him out
of revenge)—and Gerald R. Ford became the 38th President of the United States of America.
I remember the
night my family and I watched the resignation of Richard Millhouse Nixon; it was sad. I remember thinking he shouldn’t
resign; he should fight. But Nixon cared about this nation, and unlike Clinton who would never resign to save America
from scandal, Richard Nixon cared more about us than himself.
Not long after
that night my family watched Vice President Ford lift his hand to the oath of office to become President. Ford promised reconciliation
in the nation which felt so much pain and loss through war and a broken White House.
President Ford
never signed any great bills like President Reagan and his tax-cuts, going to war like President George H. W. Bush, signing
PRWORA—forcing people from welfare to work—as Clinton did, or declaring
a War on Terror as our current president has done. Ford’s legacy is simpler and he is remembered most of all for one
great thing we should all aspire to—Gerald Ford was an honest man, trusted by all because he treated everyone fairly
and always did the right thing—never the popular.
The life of Gerald
R. Ford is not different from so many in America; he did not
come from money and he was unwanted and abandoned by his own birth father.
Gerald Ford was
born Leslie Lynch King Jr. on Monday July 14, 1913 in Omaha, Nebraska to Leslie Lynch King Sr. and Dorothy Ayer Gardener.
Leslie Sr. left mother and son 16 days after the birth of the man we would all someday call Gerry.
On February 1, 1916, Dorothy married Gerald Rudolph Ford and decided to call her son
Gerry after the only father he would ever know.
It wasn’t
until Ford turned fifteen that he learned the truth of his birth. In 1935 Leslie King Jr. legally changed his name to Gerald
Rudolph Ford, Jr. At the age of 17, while working in a local Grand Rapids restaurant,
Ford met his biological father but never began a relationship with the man who left him at 16 days old.
Later, King tried
to visit Ford when Ford was in the House of Representatives and Ford turned King down. “My stepfather was a magnificent person, and my mother equally wonderful. So I couldn't have written a better prescription
for a superb family upbringing.” Ford said of his parents.
Gerald Ford grew up in Grand
Rapids, Michigan with his three brothers, going on to become a football star—Ford
played Center and Linebacker—at the University of Michigan
where he earned degrees in Political Science and Economics. To pay for college, Ford washed dishes at his fraternity house.
In 1934, Gerald
Ford became a member of the University of Michigan’s undefeated National Championship Football Team. On January
1, 1935, Ford was nominated for the Eastern Team on Shriner’s East West Crippled Children’s game in San Francisco,
California; an organization for handicapped children.
Contrary
to the clumsy jokes made about Ford by Chevy Chase’s Saturday Night Live skits throughout his presidency—skits
Ford declared he loved to watch—, Ford was just the opposite. He played against the Chicago Bears in the 1935 Collegiate
All-Star Football team at Soldier’s Field under possition No. 48.
Gerald
Ford was voted most valuable player. His No. 48 shirt hangs at his alma mater.
Contracts
were offered to the All-Star player by the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers and the NFL. Ford turned the offers down for an
education in law at Yale University where Ford graduated with a law degree in 1941. That same year Ford passed the Michigan
bar, opening a law practice in Grand Rapids.
Eight months later, Ford’s
law practice would end for patriotic reasons.
On Decmeber 7, 1941, Japan attacked Pearl Harbour. Gerald Ford proudly enlisted into the U.S.
Navy fighting for our nation and its allies.
In April of 1942, Ford became
an Ensign in the U.S. Navy Reserves reporting for duty at
Annapolis. One month later he was in Navy Preflight School as an instructor teaching
Elementary Seamanship, Ordanance,
Gunnery, First Aid, Military Drills as well as coaching sports in Swimming, boxing and Football.
Lieutenant Gerald Ford
became a war hero earning the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, nine engagement stars for duty in the Gilbert Islands, Bismark
Archipelago, and the Marshall Islands. Ford received medals for Asiatic and Pacific carrier raids in Hollandia, Marianas,
Western Carolines, Western New Guinea, and was given the Philippine Liberation Medal with two bronze stars for Leyte and Mindoro
Operations.
Ford
also received a medal for the Ameri-Cpaign and a medal for World War II victory in 1943 and 1944 for his service on Third
and Fourth Fleets in the Pacific Theatre which carried out strikes against Kavieng, New Ireland and secured the Malkin Island.
On board the Monterey,
Ford took part in the landings at Kwajalein and Eniwetok, strikes in the Marianas, Western Carolinas, Northern New Guinea,
the Battle of the Philippine Sea, the Philippines, Ryukus, along with landings in Leyte and Mindoro.
From
1945 to January 1946, Gerald Ford served on the staff of Naval Reserve Training Command and Naval Air Station along with the
possition as Naval Staff’s Physical and Military Training Officer in Glenview Illinois.
On
October 3, 1945, Gerald R. Ford became Lieutenant Commander Ford. In January of 1946, he left for the Seperation Center in
the Great Lakes where his process out of the military began. On February 23, 1956, Lt. Cmdr. Ford was honorably discharged
from the United States Navy Reserves active Service.
Gerald Rudolph Ford married
Elizabeth “Betty” Bloomer Warren on October 15, 1948 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ford would serve 13 terms in the
U.S. House of Representatives until becoming House Minority Leader under President Kennedy.
In
1963, Gerald Ford became the House Republican Minority leader. Under President Lyndon Johnson, Ford was appointed to the Warren
Commision to investigate the assassination of JFK where Ford altered the first draft conclusions of the bullet entry. The
reason’s for the alterations still are unknown.
Ford also
served on the House Appropriations Committee and Defense Appropriations Subcommittee.
On October 10, 1973 Gerald R. Ford’s life would change drastically when Vice President to Richard Nixon
Spiro Agnew was forced to resign under bribery charges. Congress demanded House Majority Leader Ford become Vice President.
In a 92 to 3 vote by the U.S. Senate and 387 to 35 vote by the House, Majority Leader Ford became Vice President Ford under
the 25th Amendment Act.
Ten months later, on August 9, 1974, the country watched as President Nixon resigned as 37th president under the Watergate scandal. Vice President Ford became the 38th
President of the United States with Nelson Rockefeller as his Vice President.
During his inaugural speech in the East Room, Ford stated these Words: “I am acutley aware that
you have not elected me as your president by your ballots, and so I ask you to confirm me as your president with your prayers.”
And that is how Ford served his presidency and his life; with humility.
On September 8, 1974, President Ford pardoned President Nixon; a move which angered Democrats but was
not the real reason Ford lost the 1976 election.
Contrary to popular myth, Gerald Ford lost to Jimmy Carter by an extremely narrow margin similar to
Gore and Bush. Unlike Gore, Ford did not demand a recount; rather he graciously accepted defeat, retiring to private life
with dignity earning him America’s respect.
On December 26, 2006, America lost its 38th president to complications from pneumonia. Ford
was the oldest living president at 93 years.
President George H.W. Bush noted: “In President Ford, the world saw the best of America and America
found a man whose character and leadership would bring calm and healing to one of the most divisive moments in our nation's
history…When President Nixon needed to replace a Vice President who had resigned in scandal, he naturally turned to
a man whose name was a synonym for integrity. And eight months later, when he was elevated to the presidency. It was because
America needed him, not because he needed the office.”
Gerald Ford always stepped up to the post when America needed him. First in WWII, then in the Congress,
next as Minority and Majority Leader and most of all when we Americans needed him to lead us; Gerald Ford became our President.
When I think of President Ford, I think of a man who was a regular Joe who played golf right up until
pneumonia claimed his life. Ford was tough, strong, sincere, honest and the model of his boyhood service as a Boy Scout and
Eagle Scout—Ford was proof anyone can become anything—even president—no matter where or what they come from
if they try hard and put others, their nation and God first.
Gerald Ford proved one’s circumstances of birth mean nothing,
it’s what we do with our lives; and the adopted boy from Grand Rapids, Michigan showed us all anything is possible in
America.
